General conditions 

Article 1 - Duration of stay : the tenant signing this contract, concluded for a fixed period, may not under any circumstances claim any right to stay in the premises at the end of the stay.

Article 2 - Conclusion of the contract : the reservation will become effective when the tenant has sent the owner 1/3 of the total amount of the rental as a deposit, as well as a signed copy of the contract and the general conditions of rental. with a certificate of “civil liability” insurance providing for the extension of vacation rentals to resorts before the date indicated on the contract. The owner undertakes to acknowledge receipt of the deposit and to return a signed copy of the contract which is to be kept by the tenant.

Article 3 - Cancellation by the tenant : any cancellation must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to the home of the owner.

a) - cancellation before arrival on the premises: the deposit remains with the owner. The latter may request the balance of the amount of the stay if the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the scheduled date of entry into the premises. Similarly, if the tenant does not appear within 24 hours of the arrival date specified in the contract, this contract becomes void and the owner can dispose of his property. The deposit also remains with the owner who may demand payment of the balance of the rental.

b) - if the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refund will be made.

Article 4 - Cancellation by the owner : the owner transfers to the tenant double the amount of the sums collected.

Article 5 - Arrival : the tenant must present himself on the day and at the time mentioned on the contract. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

Article 6 - Payment of the balance : the balance of the rental is to be paid no later than 15 days before entering the premises to the owner by bank transfer. (RIB attached)

Article 7 - Inventory of fixtures : an inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and the owner or his representative, on arrival and departure of the rental. This inventory constitutes the sole reference in the event of a dispute. The state of cleanliness of the apartment on the arrival of the tenant must be noted in the inventory. At the end of the stay, the cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant or charged as an option. In the event that the apartment is not returned to the state of  cleanliness, the amount of the cleaning fee (40 euros) will be deducted from the deposit.

The details of individual items of equipment and furniture are specified in the inventory appended to this contract.

Article 8 - Security deposit or surety :  the arrival of the tenant, a security deposit, the amount of which is mentioned on the contract, is requested by the owner. After the establishment of the contradictory state of departure of the premises, this deposit may be returned within 10 days from the day of departure, after deduction of the cost of replacement or restoration of the premises if missing objects or damage was observed. The owner undertakes not to cash the check constituting this deposit before the establishment of the contradictory state of exit from the premises.

Article 9 - Use of the premises : the tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it as a "good father" in accordance with the destination of the premises. The tenant agrees to respect the neighborhood. The rental concluded between the parties to this deed can in no case benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner. Any violation of this clause would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental, to the fault of the tenant, the product of the rental remaining definitively acquired by the owner.

Article 10 - Capacity  : the contract, object of the present, is established for a maximum capacity of 4 people. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional people.

Article 11 - Animals :  Animals are not allowed. Their presence would result in the immediate termination of the rental contract, to the fault of the tenant.

Article 12 - Insurance : the tenant declares to benefit from a civil liability insurance contract providing for the extension of the resort (vacation rental) and covering for a sufficient amount his liability  as a seasonal tenant, as well as that of the people who will share the rented premises with him, for the duration of the rental contract. He must provide a certificate of insurance when booking.

Article 13 - Payment of charges : They are included in the rental amount.

Article 14 - Tourist tax : The tourist tax is collected from January 1 to December 31. It is to be paid directly to the rental company, per person and per night.

Attention , it is never included in the rental price.
